After living in Seattle as a teenager and moving away Dr.Baker had two dreams, to become an orthodontist and to come back to Seattle. Many years later both dreams are now a reality. In 1992 Dr. Baker settled with her family in the Mt. Baker neighborhood, to live and work close to the office. Her family includes her husband Doug, and their two children, Lucie and Gordon.
Dr Baker loves art, music, travel, dance, gardening and to stay active and involved. She is a rower with the Conibear Rowing Club, supporter of a little league baseball team ("Dr. Baker Bracer's") and professor of Orthodontics at the University of Washington. She is an active member in many professional organizations, has published and lectured on orthodontic topics like adult treatment, extractions, impacted canines, and invisalign. Dr Baker keeps up with the newest innovations in orthodontics and brings the experience of over 20 years treating her patients to the highest standards of care. She was also honored by her peers to serve as a President to the Washington State Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Baker's warm personality is well suited for a health care professional. She is energetic and easy to talk to. Dr. Baker brings a level of undivided attention to all of her patients. She finds great fulfillment and passion in the art of creating beautiful smiles and making a difference in the lives of patients whom she treats.
